My work is deeply personal to me. I’m a mother of two beautiful children, was born and raised in Jordan, earned my B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Jordan. I began my professional career at “Orange Telecom” in Jordan, where I worked for 8 years as a Strategic Accounts Manager supporting government-sector clients. Later, I moved to Oregon with my family to begin a new chapter of our lives. Going through the experience of immigration, adapting to a new culture, and rebuilding a sense of community shaped my passion for supporting individuals and families during major life transitions.

After moving to the United States, I worked as a Qualified Mental Health Associate and Peer Support Specialist at Lutheran Community Services NW, where I supported refugees, immigrants, and culturally diverse communities navigating behavioral health and community-based services. I later became a Program Manager, overseeing culturally specific behavioral health programs while continuing to advocate for the needs of refugees and immigrants.

Being an immigrant myself, along with years of working closely with people from many different cultures and backgrounds, helped shape my vision for co-founding iPhilosophy. Through both my personal and professional experiences, I saw how difficult it can be for individuals and families to access mental health services that truly feel safe, understood, and culturally connected.

At iPhilosophy, we built a culturally specific group practice with bilingual clinicians from diverse backgrounds who understand the unique experiences, values, and challenges many communities face. Our goal is to help reduce the stigma around mental health and remove barriers that often prevent people from seeking therapy, including language barriers, cultural misunderstandings, and a lack of representation. We are committed to creating a welcoming space where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.
