Mindy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in trauma-informed care for adolescents and adults. She integrates EMDR, art therapy, and person-centered approaches to support clients in processing difficult experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, and reconnecting with a more grounded sense of self.
Trained as an LMFT, Mindy approaches therapy through a systems perspective, recognizing the impact of family dynamics, relationships, and early life experiences on present-day challenges. Her work focuses on identifying and shifting these patterns to promote lasting, meaningful change.
Mindy’s style is collaborative, compassionate, and creative. She strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools tailored to their individual needs. Whether through art, dialogue, or EMDR, she helps clients move through what is holding them back and toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Mindy also incorporates animal-assisted therapy into her work alongside Ziggy, her Great Dane and registered therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. When appropriate, Ziggy offers clients an additional source of comfort, grounding, and connection within the therapeutic space.
