I like to work with clients on learning the tools that can allow them to locate themselves again in the midst of whatever transitions or challenges are happening in their lives. What that looks like is different for everyone - whether you are facing a professional shift, a personal loss, or a chronic medical condition, I will focus on seeing you rather than just your ‘issues’. Together we will work on sorting out the things that you can do to improve your life from those that are beyond your control.

I am a licensed therapist and hold an MA in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM, with coursework particularly in the areas of individual psychodynamic therapy, attachment disorders, the therapeutic relationship, and trauma. My 20 years of experience has ranged from long term residential treatment for kids and adolescents to outpatient community mental health and providing mental health support to seniors at a nursing home.

I have a particular desire to work with individuals experiencing chronic and degenerative medical conditions. My preference is to work with you in person at your home, with the option of occasional virtual visits if need be. I look forward to meeting you!
