Rebecca Hampton, MA., LPC
I believe that all individuals are unique and capable of making changes to find peace within. Through flexibility, curiosity, empathy, and an understanding of one’s story as well as the story of their system, we can create healing and reconciliation. My goal is to join people on their journey as they take the lead. I follow an integrative approach and specialize in CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, strength-based approaches, college counseling, and somatic work. Some of my experiences include trauma work, anxiety, grief/loss, adjustment issues, and depression with adults as well as group work with adolescents.
I hold a master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University with a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from San Diego State University. I have several years of experience in trauma-informed and culturally specific counseling. I enjoy exploring, creating, cooking, spending time with my partner, two children, and my dachshund named Chimi.
